A Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 é a mais recente câmara compacta Super35 a se juntar à série Blackmagic Design. Esta câmara estilo cine apresenta o mesmo sensor 6K S35, recursos de gravação, faixa dinâmica, portas de interface e controlos que o 6K Pro, mas combina alguns recursos para criar um formato mais acessível.
Os recursos herdados do 6K Pro incluem um LCD de tela sensível ao toque inclinável de 5", opções Pro EVF e alça de bateria, duas entradas de áudio mini-XLR, uma slot de bateria NP-F570 série L e a ciência de cores Gen 5 atualizada. Filtros ND e reduzindo o brilho do LCD de 1500cd/m² do 6K Pro, a Blackmagic agora permite que os utilizadores escolham entre dois modelos 6K quase idênticos.
A câmara Blackmagic Design 6K G2 vem com uma chave de ativação DaVinci Resolve Studio mais uma fonte de alimentação de 30 W, oferecendo carregamento simultâneo da bateria, uma bateria NP-F570, uma tampa da porta da lente e uma alça de câmara.
